PET SOUNDS vs SGT PEPPER TWO ALBUMS THAT CHANGED THE WORLD... FOREVER ! Back by popular demand, the fabulous Brighton Beach Boys and the Psychedelic Love Orchestra return to the Brighton Festival to perform LIVE the two finest pop albums ever recorded - the Beach Boys' Pet Sounds and the Beatles' Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. This is a spectacular, joyously entertaining and authentically groovy 15-piece band celebration of the most beautiful sounds from the pop heart of the Love Generation brought direct to your ears. It features strings, brass, woodwind, sitar and Indian percussion. The Brighton Beach Boys took the Festival by storm when, in 2006, they unveiled their stunning live show, Pet Sounds vs Sgt Pepper to sold-out crowds, earning a nomination for the Latest Award for Best Music Event. The following year they not only won that award, but also an Argus Angel Award for artistic excellence. In 2008 this show was nominated for the third year running and a documentary about the band scooped first prize in a Festival competition. "Amazing tribute..."
